The future of £175 million proposals for an indoor tropical water park and spa will be decided March 2020.

Plans for the 28-acre resort show it would combine water slides and wave pools with relaxing luxury spa experiences to create “a true oasis in the city.”

Therme Manchester first announced the proposals in July 2019 and said they want to bring together “the tradition of the ancient Roman spa with an indoor tropical paradise” if their proposed scheme is given the go-ahead.

The attraction would sit in Trafford City on Barton Dock Road between Phoenix Way, Mercury Way and the Bridgewater Canal – a site currently home to Event City.

Trafford Council’s planning meeting in March will determine whether or not the monster plans are granted planning permission, let's see what happens?
